L35AF

Next year my girlfriend Shimmy and I are living on the road once more, only this time we will be traveling europe. We have nothing booked except a one way ticket to Heathrow Airport, with no specific plans made. We have a list of everywhere we want to go, every place we want to see, but no setlist as of yet. In preperation for the trip I have recently purchused a new film Point and Shoot, the Nikon L35AF. This is the first Point and Shoot I’ve ever owned and I am already in love. The camera has one button, the shutter button and a little dial to set your ISO. Yes with a Point and Shoot you lose a lot of creative options, no long exposures, a set aperture, and in my case no flash as it’s broken. However the ability to capture a moment instantly without having to check how the setting are is my ideal camera, all I have to do is frame my subject and fire away. I’m not a stickler for always having the sharpest, perfectly lit images, I believe the moment and subject is what really gives photos meaning. That is why I’m absolutely stoked with the camera and it’s way of shooting. You’ll be seeing a lot more photos posted here from this camera.
