Boulders amongst the trees

This was my first time out amongst the trees, actively seeking large rocks to scale. One of my friends is very involved in the rockclimbing and bouldering scene on the Gold Coast, and she has invited me to come along on a number of occasions. It was an experience I was looking forward to for a while as the previous 4 times I was invited I couldn’t attend due to work. On this paticular occasion I did very minimal, easy climbing, as they were rocks even the group had not climbed before and I was running around flat out taking photos. Even though I didn’t climb much it was such a fun few hours, trekking off path trying to track down large boulders was great. I was able to meet a group of awesome people that I really look forward to climbing with again.
